yesterday, the cold seeped into the buildings and chilled to the bone.
today, the sun wrapped everything in its warmth and autumn glow.

yesterday, a shadow of a cold hung over my head.
today, energy returned to wake me up.

yesterday, my parents arrived after coming head-to-head with the Buffalo snowstorm.
today, they left to cross the border for the fourth time this trip.
the visit was short and sweet, but enough to warm the heart. : )
